Twio is a platform that helps you:

Every time you shop with a twio retailer and purchase a qualifying item, you'll receive a follow-up email with a link to redeem a donation with a cause of your choice. This is completely free for you and 100% of the donation goes to the cause of your choice.

Twio retailers are committed to giving back a portion of their sales to good causes. Rather than do this behind the scenes, they use twio to help them engage their customers (you) in the giving back process. Twio retailers also understand that each of their customers care about different things and want to offer choice.

Twio pays 100% of the donation to your selected cause. We work with our nonprofit partner, The Earth Fund, to distribute donations to recipient causes; these donations are paid out quarterly once the causes has raised over our minimum donation threshold (so they don't lose money in transaction fees!).

Our cause finder helps you find causes that are most closely aligned to your individual giving preferences and values. With 170,000 charities in the UK alone, it's incredibly difficult to the best organisations; we take care of that for you.

Each cause that is added to twio's database is categorised based on various factors, including the type of work they do and where they do it. Once you've made all of your selections, our matching algorithm ranks the causes in our database, showing you the best matches first.

We pride ourselves on identifying the most impactful causes around the globe for you to support. Once we've done our routine due diligence (including making sure they are registered) we score causes based on several factors, including:


- Impact to date
- Severity of the problems they are tackling
- Scalability and repeatability of their operations
- Team expertise, and diversity/inclusion
- Finances

Once you've selected your cause and made your first donation, you'll be able to redeem all future donations in just two click (click 'Redeem now' in the email and then click 'Donate now' within the twio app). Neat right?
